ASSISTANT WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL COACH

Responsibilities
Under the general direction of the women's volleyball head coach, assist in all aspects of an NCAA Division I women's volleyball program including student recruitment, scheduling, team travel, scouting opponents, practice planning, assisting with the administration of summer camps and clinics, and administration of the women's volleyball program in full compliance with NCAA and university rules and regulations.
Qualifications
Position requires collegiate coaching and playing experience in the sport of volleyball. Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations are required. Candidates must pass NCAA certification exam. Candidates must have a clear understanding of the student first philosophy in place at UC Davis.
Appointment
Full-time 12 month coaching contract in intercollegiate athletics beginning February 1, 2010.
Compensation
$40,000 - $44,000/year plus full benefits.
