DAVIS, Calif. – Multiple games against Power Five opponents, five contests against 2018 postseason teams, five home games and the annual Causeway Cup clash at the Golden 1 Center highlight the defending Big West champion's 2018-19 non-conference slate, as announced by head coach Jim Les on Thursday.

This is the inaugural head-to-head meeting against Indiana and USC, the first game vs. Arizona since 1974 and second time in program history the Aggies will square off against Arkansas. UC Davis and the Razorbacks first faced one another in 2008.

Men's basketball will open the season at home with consecutive games against 2018 postseason teams when San Francisco (Nov. 6) and San Diego (Nov. 9) visit Hamilton Court.

In the last four seasons, the Aggies' home court played a huge role in helping the team win three league titles and earn its first trip to the NCAA Tournament. During that timespan, they recorded two perfect home records, held a 19-game home win streak and enter the upcoming season with 21 victories in the last 23 played inside the Pavilion.

Of all the teams in the Big West Conference, nobody holds a higher home win percentage than UC Davis (.827) during that same four-year period.

The first set of road games begins on Nov. 12 against Arkansas and continues the following weekend with two games in Arlington, Texas, in as many days: Texas A&M Corpus Christi (Nov. 17) and UT Arlington (Nov. 18).

UC Davis has enjoyed nothing but success in the first two Causeway rivalry games held inside the Golden 1 Center, the state-of-the-art downtown home of the Sacramento Kings, and will seek its third straight win when it squares off against Sacramento State on Nov. 20.

An exciting week for men's basketball will continue three days later when it visits Assembly Hall, one of college basketball's most storied venues, for the program's first-ever game against the Indiana Hoosiers (Nov. 23).

Two of the Aggies' following three games will take place at home, starting on Nov. 29 against Northern Arizona. Taking place between that game and a home tilt vs. William Jessup (Dec. 16) is a road game Northern Illinois (Dec. 5) — another first-time opponent.

UC Davis will head to Arizona (Dec. 22) for its last game before the holiday break; action will resume the following week with games at Loyola Marymount (Dec. 28) and USC (Dec. 30).

The Wildcats and Trojans finished first and second in the Pac-12 respectively last season, and finished among the top teams in the nation when the Associated Press released its final national poll.

The Aggies' final non-conference contest will take place at home against Holy Names (Jan. 5), the team's final tune-up before league play commences the following week.
