DAVIS, Calif. – UC Davis and Learfield, its multimedia rights holder, announced an extended agreement with Sports 1140 KHTK, Athletics' long-time broadcast partner. As has been the case for over two decades, KHTK will broadcast UC Davis football games; with this agreement, the station will broadcast men's basketball games for the first time in program history.

Throughout this multi-year relationship, KHTK will also air a minimum of 14 one-hour seasonal coaches' shows (11 football / three men's basketball), which provides Aggie fans the opportunity to hear interviews with Head Football Coach Dan Hawkins or Head Men's Basketball Coach Jim Les during morning, midday and afternoon drive times during their respective seasons.

"This is great news for Aggie fans and our community," said UC Davis Director of Athletics Kevin Blue. We are grateful to Bonneville and Learfield for coming together and extending a valuable relationship, and creating an opportunity to deliver men's basketball games to fans for the first time."

"We are excited to renew our long-standing relationship with the Aggies and look forward to continuing a great partnership," said Bonneville Sacramento Vice President and Market Manager Steve Cottingim. "It is our pleasure, starting this fall, to bring the excitement of men's basketball to the Aggie faithful."

UC Davis and Learfield also reached agreements with Sports 1140 on-air personality Scott Marsh and on-air partner Doug Kelly to return as the broadcast team for UC Davis football. The 2018 season is the duo's 12th on air and 23rd for Kelly as the Aggies' analyst.

Marsh will also return as the voice of Aggie basketball for 17th year.

"As a proud alum of UC Davis, I am honored to continue as the play-by-play voice of Aggie athletics. I am excited to bring all the action to Aggie Nation and look forward to working closely with Coach Hawkins and Coach Les as they continue to grow their programs to national prominence," said Marsh.

UC Davis is one of nearly 130 collegiate institutions, conferences and arenas represented by Learfield. Its local entity, UC Davis Sports Properties, manages the relationship on a day-to-day basis. The company's rich history includes over four decades of developing trusted, long-term relationships with some of the most revered institutions and associations in the world of college sports.

In addition to its sponsorship of the Learfield Directors' Cup, the company offers its partners professional concessions and ticket sales, branding, licensing and trademark consulting, digital and social platform expertise, campus-wide business and sponsorship development.
