The 3rd Annual Wine Tasting with the Aggies event is coming to the UC Davis campus on October 11th. Tickets will go on sale on May 12th. The event will take place on the Aggie Tailgating Field adjacent to Aggie Stadium and will run from 1-3:30 p.m. prior to the UC Davis vs. Montana State football game at 4 p.m. The event time is subject to change depending on the official kickoff time.
The Wine Tasting with the Aggies event celebrates UC Davis' Viticulture and Enology program. For over one hundred years the University of California has maintained an active and productive program in research and education in viticulture and enology. The continuing excellence of the Department has enabled California growers and vintners to develop practices that have allowed the Golden State to achieve its potential and become a premier wine-producing region. The excellence demonstrated in viticulture and enology has produced some of the greatest wine makers in the nation.
Guest will enjoy samples of over 40 wines and the football game to follow.
