Women's indoor track concludes 2018 season in Seattle

SEATTLE, Wash. --
The UC Davis women's indoor track and field squad officially concludes the 2018 season with a 12th-place team finish at the MPSF Championships in Seattle, Wash.

Junior Erinn Beattie jumped a 1.76m/5-9.25 high jump, once good for a first-place spot in the record book at the beginning of the season, but is ranks in third for the all-timers.

Senior Mikaela Adolphus led the Aggie team of three in the women's 400 with a time of 56.30, which is now seventh in the UC Davis record book, while Angie Carreras led the Aggie team of four in the women's 800 with a 2:16.89 time.

In the women's 4x400 relay, the last event of the championships, Aggie quartet of Flora Oliveira, Adolphus, Kierra Davis, and Kayla Gibson finished their race in 14th place to round out UC Davis's participation at the MPSF Championships.

Although the UC Davis women's indoor track and field season has come to an end, the outdoor track and field season picks up next weekend as the Aggies head to Berkeley, Calif., to participate in the Cal Open on Mar. 3.
