DAVIS, Calif. -- The UC Davis women's indoor track and field team returns to the University of New Mexico's Albuquerque Convention Center for the second time in as many weekends to compete in the annual, two-day Don Kirby Invitational, with the first day of action beginning on Friday (Feb. 9).

To recap the Aggie highlights at last weekend's New Mexico Classic, junior jumper Erinn Beattie set a new UC Davis indoor record of 1.76m in the high jump, which placed her in second that day, while junior transfer Kieana Butler and sophomore Kierra Davis qualified to the semifinals in the 60 meter dash and the 60 meter hurdles, resepctively.

Besides Beattie's record, Davis alone had three of her performance times added to the Aggies' school record book after last weekend's meet at the ABQ Convention Center. Davis's 8.87 mark in the 60 meter hurdles, as well as her 200m's 24.43 time ranks third and second in program history, while both Butler and Davis's 7.68 and 7.75 60 meter dash are now occupying the fourth and seventh spots, respectively.

Also in the 200m dash, Mikaela Adolphus's time of 24.71 now ties for sixth, while Butler's 24.79 time and Natsumi McGee's 24.85 time trails directly behind in the seventh and eighth spots in the all-time record books.

Aside from the Aggies that participated in last weekend's event, Hilary Ojinnaka (200, 400) , Shelby Hightower (600, 800), Jordan Stefani (600, 800), and Xjaedah Williams (60 hurdles, are scheduled to make her 2018 indoor season debut at the Don Kirby Invitational.
