DAVIS, Calif. -- The UC Davis women's indoor track and field squad heads north to Seattle, Wash., this weekend (Feb. 23-24) to participate in the 26th Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Indoor Track and Field Championships, which will take place at Washington's Dempsey Indoor Facility for the 16th consecutive season.

This competition will conclude the Aggies' indoor track and field 2018 campaign before making the transition to the outdoor track and field season starting on the following week.

This year, the MPSF Championships is scheduled to host 22 teams on the women's side, which includes members from the Pac-12, Big West, and other West Coast Conferences. Out of the 22 teams, UC Davis and San Francisco are the only two schools making their debut at this event.

The Aggie contingents scheduled to make an appearance this weekend will not change the events previously competed in; however, junior jumper Erinn Beattie, who set back-to-back high jump records of 1.76m and 1.78m, respectively, will be adding throws and distance running to her list as she takes part in the pentathlon.

Live results for this event can be found here. A live video stream, provided by FloTrack, can be found here; however, a monetary subscription is required.
