DAVIS, Calif. — Three weekend competitions, all taking place outside of California, highlights the UC Davis women’s indoor track and field 2018 schedule, as confirmed by the track and field coaching staff. The upcoming season kicks off once again in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Friday, Feb. 2, for the annual New Mexico Classic.
The New Mexico Classic will be a two-day event (Feb. 2-3) hosted by the University of Mexico. On the following week, the Aggies will head back to the Albuquerque Convention Center to compete in the Don Kirby invitational, another two-day event, spanning the dates of Feb. 9-10.
On Feb. 23-24, the UC Davis women’s track and field squad will round out their 2018 season by traveling north to Seattle, Washington, to compete at the MPSF Indoor Track and Field Championships, which will be hosted by Washington.
The UC Davis men’s and women’s outdoor track and field squads will start their 2018 season slate at the 33rd Chico State Multi-Event Classic on Feb. 22.
