2004-05: Joined team after conclusion of water polo season... Advanced at Big West Conference Championships in 50 free (19th), 100 free (23rd) and 100 fly (21st)... Helped 200 medley relay relay squad to 6th-place showing at conference... Also participated at American Short Course Championships in 100 free and 100 fly.

2003-04: PCSC CHAMPION as part of 200 free relay... Also raced in 100 free (19th), 100 fly (20th), 50 free (21st) and 200 free (33rd).

UC DAVIS WATER POLO: Scored 25 goals (T4th on team) with 10 assists as a sophomore in 2004... One of three Aggies to play all 33 games that season... Led team with eight goals at Triton Invitational... Finished 6th on team with 17 goals as a freshman... Posted season-high 5 goals vs. Occidental, then scored 4 vs. Claremont two weeks later.

DE LA SALLE HS '03: Earned second-team All-America, first-team All-North Coast Section and Blossom Valley Athletic League MVP distinction as a senior in water polo... Named to All-BVAL first team and All-NCS second team as a junior... Led water polo to three straight section titles, including 28-0 mark in 2002... His swimming team also won NCS banner in 2003... Also swam for Walnut Creek Aqua Bears.

PERSONAL: Born in Walnut Creek, Calif.... Managerial economics major... Parents are Craig & Sheryl Bacharach, both of whom graduated from UC Davis... Older brother, Brian, plays water polo at Cal.
