2007-08: Made second swims in 50 free, 100 free and 100 fly at Big West Conference Championships... Won bonus final (17th overall) in 100 free with season-best 53.19... Other season bests were 24.73 in 50 free, 59.91 in 100 fly, also at conference meet.

2006-07: Tallied 6.0 points at the Big West Conference Championships... Advanced to consolation finals in 100 (14th), 200 (15th) and 500 (16th) free events at the conference meet... Hit season-best 53.09 in 100 free final, a half-second improvement over her previous best... Posted season bests of 1:55.70 in 200 free and 5:14.12 in 500 free during conference prelims... Also swam the third leg of the 4th-place 200 medley relay (1:46.07).

2005-06: Competed in four individual events plus two relays at Big West Conference Championships... Earned second swims in both 100 free (20th) and 100 fly (18th) at conference, hitting season-best marks of 53.61 and 58.55 in the respective finals.

CLOVIS EAST HS '05: Finished 3rd in 100 fly and 100 free at Central Section championships as a senior... Also aided in 6th-place 400 free relay and 7th-place 200 medley relay... Shared school's Female Athlete of the Year award that year... Set school records in six events: 50 free, 100 free, 100 fly, 200 medley and both free relays... Won back-to-back Tri-River Athletic Conference titles in both the 200 free and 100 fly... Captured all-city honors every year... Competed for Clovis Swim Club, earning US Swimming Scholastic All-America Award, Coaches' Award and Most Improved accolades... Also starred in water polo, earning co-MVP honors and leading squad to undefeated seasons and TRAC championships in 2003.

PERSONAL: Born in Fresno, Calif.... Has not declared a major... Mother is Susan Bonds, whom she lists as her non-sports hero.... Sports hero is Jenny Thompson... Proudest personal accomplishment was graduating 18th in a class of more than 500 despite lettering in two sports all four years... Would like to abolish all events longer than 200 yards.
