2006-07: Scored 42.0 points at Big West Conference meet, 2nd on team... Reached finals in both breaststroke events... Placed 2nd (1:03.53) in 100 breast, 3rd (2:19.07) in 200 breast... Won consols in 50 free (23.93) to finish 9th overall in that event... Also swam with 200 free relay (5th), 400 free relay (3rd) and both medley relays (4th each)... Broke her own school 100 breast record with 1:03.48 at Akron Invite... Posted four 100 breast meet wins, plus a first-place finish in 200 breast at the UC Irvine Shootout.

2005-06: Amassed 32.0 points in two breaststroke events at Big West Conference Championships... Eclipsed her own school 100 breast record with 1:03.99 in prelims, then broke it again at 1:03.80 in final, good for 2nd place... Time would have hit NCAA `B' standard of 1:03.86... Added 4th-place points in 200 breast with 2:21.07... Swam second leg on both 200 medley (3rd) and 400 medley relay (4th), plus served as leadoff in 200 free relay... Had team's 12 best 200 breast times, winning dual matchups in the event five times.

2004-05: Scored 37.0 points at Big West meet, not including relays... Reached two finals, placing 3rd in 100 breast (1:04.13), 5th in 200 breast (2:20.51)... Both marks shattered school records... Also advanced to consolations in 50 free, placing 10th (24.17)... Member of 3rd-place 400 medley relay (3:47.48) and 2nd-place 200 medley relay (1:43.47) at conference... First broke teammate Renee Dyer's three-month-old 100 breast record at UC San Diego with a 1:05.69, then surpassed her own mark three more times... Mark of 2:20.51 in 200 breast easily broke Kristi Wheeler's 1988 standard of 2:22.15.

BENICIA HS '04: Starred in both swimming and water polo... Won Solano County Athletic Conference titles in 100 breast and 100 free in 2004... Garnered NISCA All-America consideration in 50 free and 100 breast... Two-time team MVP in swimming... Captured All-SCAC honors in water polo as a senior... Selected as team's Best Defensive Player as a junior... Competed for Vallejo Aquatics Club for three years... Won Redwood Empire Aquatics League (REAL) championships in 50, 100 and 200 free plus 100 breast... Set team record in 50 free in 2002, capturing Far Western title... Also voted Most Outstanding of 15-16 squad that year.

PERSONAL: Born in Berkeley, Calif.... Majoring in communication... Parents are Tom & Lane Cayford... Would change her sport by adding the 50 breast... If not for swimming, would consider playing water polo at UC Davis.
