2012-13: Top times recorded this season include a 26.13 in the 50 free versus Pacific and a 56.30 in the 100 free against CSU Bakersfield.

2011-12: Competed in four fall meets before sitting out the remainder of the season due to injury... Saw majority of action, including backstroke segment of 200 medley relay in three duals... Made MPSF All-Academic squad.

2010-11: Set season-best times in 50 free (25.32), 100 free (53.85), 200 free (1:57.31), 500 free (5:12.42) and 100 fly (1:01.00) at Allington Memorial meet.

REDWOOD HS '10: Helped lead Redwood High School to four straight Marin County Athletic League championships... Earned All-American status in 2009 as part of 200 freestyle relay, which won the North Coast Section title with school-record 1:34.94... Also competed for the North Bay Aquatics club.

PERSONAL: Born in Santa Rosa, Calif.... Has yet to declare a major... Parents are Ken & Shawn DeMont... Hails from a swimming family: Ken and Rick DeMont (uncle) swam at Arizona... Rick, a member of the World Swimming Hall of Fame, set three world records and competed at the 1972 Olympics in Munich... Older brother, Brandon, swam for Cal Poly.
