2004-05: BIG WEST CONFERENCE CHAMPION in 100 free, posting 51.51 in prelims followed by 51.42 in finals, breaking school record twice... Advanced to three finals at conference: 4th in 50 free (23.76), 8th in 200 free (1:50.70)... Also exhibitioned in 100 breast, setting school-record 1:04.90 that was broken later in the day by Ashley Cayford... Anchored four top-four relay squads at Big West meet... Finished 2nd as part of 200 free relay (1:35.18) and 400 free relay (3:28.36)... Placed 3rd with 800 free relay (7:30.89), 4th in 200 medley relay (1:43.47)... All four relay marks are UC Davis records... Initially broke Anna Pettis' 1983 school record in 200 free with 1:53.11 relay split at UC San Diego, then bested that mark six more times, including final 1:50.70 at conference meet... Ranks 2nd all-time in 50 free (23.76, at Big West) and 100 free (51.41, at American Short Course Championships)... Placed 7th at AmSC meet in 100 breast (1:05.69 prelims), then took 8th in 100 free with school-record mark... Also hit season-best 2:22.89 in 200 breast at Austin meet.

SIERRA COLLEGE: Won state COA titles in 100 free (51.87), 200 free (1:52.49) and 100 breast (1:06.31 prelims) in 2003... Winning mark in 200 free was almost a four-second improvement over her prelim time... Also anchored state-champion 800 free relay (7:56.75)... Shared JC Swimmer of the Year honors that year (with Sherry Tsai of Orange Coast College)... Also swam for Sierra Marlins club team, qualifying for Jr. Nationals six times.

UTAH: Placed 15th in 200 IM (2:10.64) at Mountain West Conference meet as a freshman in 2002... Selected to Academic All-MWC squad.

ROCKLIN HS '01: Earned NISCA All-America honors in 200 free and 100 breast as a senior... Four-time team MVP... Selected to school's Hall of Fame and named Senior Athlete of the Year in 2001.

PERSONAL: Born in Sacramento, Calif.... Psychology major... Parents are William & Ellen Dyer... Older sister, Jen, graduated from Cal Poly... Sports hero is David Beckham, non-sports hero is Oprah Winfrey... Best athletes she's faced are Amanda Beard and Dara Torres.
