2006-07: Compiled 26.0 individual points at Big West Conference Championships... Placed 8th in 200 IM, 9th in 200 free, 11th in 100 free... Advanced to 200 IM final by virtue of 1:52.80 in prelims, 8th in school history... Also swam leadoff leg of 2nd-place 800 free relay, posting season-best 200 free time of 1:39.74... Won 200 free in double dual with Cal Poly and Pacific.

2005-06: Scored 36.0 points at Big West Conference Championships, not including share in 400 medley relay (4th) and 400 free relay (3rd)... Advanced to finals in 200 free (6th), 100 free (7th) and 500 free (8th)... Posted 1:39.60 in 200 free prelims, 3rd all-time at UC Davis... Prelim mark of 4:33.40 in 500 free ranks 8th in school history.

2004-05: Tallied 12.0 points at Big West Conference meet, placing 10th in 200 free, 12th in 500 free... Mark of 1:40.32 in prelims ranks 3rd among school's all-time 200 free leaders... Posted 4:36.43 in 500 finals, 8th in UC Davis history... Also anchored 200 free, 400 free and 400 medley relays at conference meet, each of which finished 4th... Placed 14th in both 200 and 500 free at American Short Course Championships.

2003-04: Redshirted.

FOLSOM HS '03: Captured All-America honors in 200 and 500 free as a senior... Posted two top-four finishes at Sac-Joaquin Section championships that year... Swam for Sierra Marlins for three years, earning Marlin of the Year merit in 2003... Won zone championships in 200 and 400 free relays.

PERSONAL: Born in Long Beach, Calif.... Majoring in civil engineering... Parents are Ed & Cindy Kemp, both of whom were aquatics athletes in their collegiate days... Ed has frequently served as announcer for Aggie home meets... Career highlight was capturing zone titles for Sierra Marlins... Best athlete he's faced is fellow Marlin Garrett Wagner... Lists his mother as his non-sports hero, Tony Hawk as his sports hero.
