2012-13: ALL-MPSF FIRST TEAM in the 500 free... ALL-MPSF SECOND TEAM IN THE 1650 free... Posted the fastest 1650 free time in school history at the Mizzou Invite... Best times of the season include: 100 free (52.35), 200 free (1:50.28), 1000 free (10:05.42) and 1650 free (16:44.83) at Mizzou Invite; 500 free (4:50.65) and 400 IM (4:23.07) at MPSF Championships; 200 fly (2:13.47) vs. CSUB.

SAN RAMON VALLEY HS '12: Earned NISCA All-America honors in both 200 and 500 free in each of final two seasons... Placed 5th in 500 free at North Coast Section championships in both junior (4:51:68) and senior (4:52.58) seasons... For comparison, UC Davis' school record entering 2012-13 is 4:52.29... Also reached NCS final in 200 both seasons, posting 1:50.70 as a junior, 1:50.90 as a senior... SRV went undefeated, won NCS team title each year... USA Swimming Scholastic All-American for maximum three years... Swam for Pleasanton Seahawks, advancing to 2012 Junior Nationals final in 400 free... Also member of 800 free relay at U.S. Open in 2012... Seahawks finished 2nd and 3rd at those meets, respectively.

PERSONAL: Born in Walnut Creek, Calif.... Majoring in civil engineering... Parents are Ken & Maura Brown... Fraternal twin sister, Allison, also starred at SRV/Pleasanton and now swims for Stanford... Career highlight was competing at the FINA World Cup in Singapore... Listens to Eminem as a pre-swim ritual.
