2011-12: ALL-MPSF SECOND TEAM in 100 fly... Finished 6th (55.92 prelim) in that event at conference meet, 6th in school history... Also earned a second swim in 200 fly, placing 14th (2:04.61 prelim)... That mark ranks 7th all-time at UC Davis... Finished 17th in 200 IM (2:04.92), improving by more than two full seconds from prelim for another season-best mark... Also swam 100 back of 58.61 in exhibition at conference... Hit 400 IM season best of 4:30.81 at Mizzou Invite.

STOCKDALE HS '11: Captured Central Section title in 200 IM as a freshman, then placed 2nd as a senior... Also posted CIF-CS runner-up finish in 100 fly in 2009 and 2010... Won five Southwest Yosemite League titles: four individual events plus 200 free relay... Voted as team's Most Valuable Swimmer three times and Most Outstanding once... Member of Roadrunner Aquatics and Bakersfield Swim Club for 12 years... Qualified for Senior National Short Course (2009) and NCSA Junior Nationals (2009, 2010), while making Cal/Nevada sectionals for six straight years.

PERSONAL: Born in Bakersfield, Calif.... Majoring in animal biology... Parents are John Ramos & Nancy Champion... Oldest of three siblings, along with Natalie and Matthew... If she won $1 million, she would devote it to supporting youth swimming programs and rescuing injured animals.
