2007-08: Among team's leading scorers (37.0 points) at Big West Conference Champinships, advancing to finals of 100 fly (5th), 200 fly (7th) and 200 IM (8th)... Went 56.19 in 100 fly prelim, then improved to 56.11 in final, 2nd in school history... Mark of 2:04.45 in 200 fly prelim also ranks 2nd all-time at UC Davis... Posted 2:07.09 in 200 IM final, 5th in Aggie annals... Also swam butterfly leg of 200 medley (3rd) and 400 medley (4th) relays at conference meet... Competed in 100 breast at Husky Invite, touching in 1:07.98, good for 10th in school record book.

DIABLO VALLEY COLLEGE: Two-year All-American... Won seven out of possible seven titles at 2007 Community College State Championships, earning meet's Most Valuable Swimmer award... Captured individual championships in 50 fly (25.84), 100 fly (57.05) and 100 IM (58.96)... Also member of 200 and 800 free relays, as well as 200 and 400 medley relays... Teammate of current Aggie Carolyn Charvoz on three state-champion relay foursomes.

CARONDELET HS '05: Helped lead to North Coast Section title as a senior... Competed for Walnut Creek Aquabears from 2004-07.

PERSONAL: Born in Oakland, Calif.... Majoring in human development... Mother is Catherine Struempf... Brothers Chris and Mike played water polo at Cal and Pacific, respectively... Proudest personal achievement was winning community college state titles in seven events.
