2012-13: NCAA ZONE E DIVING REGIONAL PARTICIPANT in the 1-meter, 3-meter and platform events... ALL-MPSF SECOND TEAM on the platform... Set a new school record with her six-dive dual total of 278.40 on the low board vs. CSUB (1/19)... Also posted the second-highest total in the program's history on the high board with a score of 292.35, also against CSUB... Her five-dive score of 201.95 on the platform at the MPSF Championships (2/23) is the second-highest since 2012.

CREAN LUTHERAN HS '12: Placed 7th (412.15) at Southern Section meet as a senior... Also qualified for section meet as a freshman at JSerra Catholic HS, earning team's Diver of the Year nod... Member of Natadores Diving (Mission Viejo), placing 11th on platform at 2009 zone championships... Also competed Level 10 gymnastics for GymMax (Costa Mesa).

PERSONAL: Born in Irvine, Calif.... Majoring in aerospace science & engineering... Parents are Thomas & Jennifer Tears... Youngest of four siblings: Emily (26), Rachel (23) and Jackson (20)... Jackson is a pitcher at Carleton College while Rachel was a pole vaulter at UC San Diego.
