2005-06: Competed in four events at Big West Conference Championships... Best finish was 18th in 100 fly.

2004-05: Advanced to consolations of 200 fly, placing 14th for 3.0 points... Added 19th-place finish in 100 fly... Also participated in 50 free, 100 free, 200 free, 500 free as non-scoring entry at conference meet.

2003-04: Advanced to Pacific Collegiate Swimming Conference consolation race in 1,650 free, placing 12th... Added 18th in 200 fly, 21st in 500 free at conference... Also competed in 200 free, 100 fly and 200 medley relay at PCSC meet.

FOLSOM HS '03: Helped lead team to three Sierra Valley Conference titles in as many years... Earned All-SVC honors in 500 free as a junior... Voted team captain as a senior... Won Coaches' Award as a sophomore... Played football and baseball before switching to aquatics... Earned Most Improved in both sports... Twice earned CIF All-Scholastic honors... Swam for Sierra Marlins, earning Marlin of the Month honors twice.

PERSONAL: Born in Sacramento, Calif.... Majoring in exercise biology, with hopes to become an athletic trainer... Parents are Steve & Susan Wallen... Steve swam for Chico State... Came to UC Davis in part for its strength in health sciences... Made National Dean's List in 2004... Career highlight was the Aggies' conference championship in 2004.
