FRESNO, Calif. - Marilyn Carey, Megan Leung, Sarah Luibel and Maya Sprinsock won the 800 yard freestyle relay, as select members of the UC Davis swimming and diving team competed at the 2012 Juanita Allington Senior Championships on Saturday at the Clovis North Aquatics Complex.

The Aggies dominated in the final event of the day, posting a time of 7:50.04 in the 800 yard freestyle relay and finishing over seven seconds ahead of the second place team.

Sprinsock posted a season best time in the 200 yard breaststroke with a finish of 2:21.43 in the A finals. She also had a time of 25.39 in the 50 yard freestyle B finals.

Jessica Nicholson posted a 1:59.64 time in the 200 yard freestyle prelims before a time of 4:39.25 in the 400 yard IM B finals. Luibel had prelim times of 2:00.66 and 26.22 in the 200 and 50 yard free, respectively.

Carey also competed in the 200 yard free (1:54.84) and 50 yard free (25.55) while Leung added times of 1:56.89 and 24.71 in the 200 and 50 yard free, respectively.

UC Davis will complete its competition at the 2012 Juanita Allington Senior Championships tomorrow, racing in the 100 fly, 1650 free, 100 back, 100 breast, 200 IM and 400 medley relay.
