MPSF HISTORY: UC Davis had its quest for three straight MPSF crowns ended last season, finishing second behind wire-to-wire winner Hawai'i with 632 points to trail the Rainbow Wahine's record 747 points. The Aggies have claimed the most conference titles with crowns in 2011, 2013, and 2014, with BYU (2012) and Hawai'i (2015) winning the other two.

UC Davis at the MPSF Championships...
2010-11: 726 points (1st of 9 teams)
2011-12: 546 (3rd of 10; BYU 1st - 732)
2012-13: 673.5 (1st of 8)
2013-14: 712.5 (1st of 8)
2014-15: 632 (2nd of 7; Hawai'i 1st - 747)

2015 MPSF RECAP: Hilvy Cheung and Hilary Hunt combined for six NCAA "B" standards while Cheung claimed the first two MPSF titles of her UC Davis career to highlight the Aggies' trip to the league championships last season. Cheung walked away with titles in both the 100 and 200 fly, eclipsing the NCAA barrier twice in the former, and adding another in the later. Hunt finished second in both the 100 and 200 back a season ago, coming in under the NCAA time twice in the 100, and in the finals in the 200. Both also helped bring home a third title, swimming the backstroke and butterfly legs of the winning 200 medley relay squad along with Hailey Ferko (breast) and Samantha Shellem (free).

LAST TIME OUT: UC Davis closed out the regular season with wins in eight events, helping lift the Aggies to a 136-114 win over league rival Pacific on Jan. 30 in Stockton, Calif., finishing the year 5-2 overall in duals and a perfect 3-0 against MPSF opponents. UC Davis took home victories in eight of the first 11 events on the day before exhibitioning its swimmers in the final three events of the day after the victory was in hand. Hilvy Cheung doubles in the 100 and 200 back, while posting the fastest time of the day in the 100 fly, and was joined atop the podium by individual event winners Robin Lampron (200 free), Iris Brand (100 breast), Eva Chung (200 fly), Mia Facey (100 free), and Lexy Troup (500 free). The Aggies also won the 200 medley relay to kick-off the meet.

STREAKING AGGIES: Thanks to their win over Pacific, the Aggies extended their winning streak in duals over MPSF rivals to 15 in their regular season finale. UC Davis' last loss to an MPSF opponent in a dual came on Jan. 28, 2012, in a narrow, 159-141, defeat to UC Santa Barbara.
