COMING UP NEXT: The UC Davis men's and women's swimming teams will host Seattle at Schaal Aquatics Center in Davis, Calif. Saturday, Oct. 31 at 11:00 a.m.

SCOUTING SEATTLE: The Seattle men's team last competed Oct. 10 at the PCSC Pentathlon in Fresno, Calif. while the women's team faced the University of Alaska in Fairbanks, Alaska Oct. 9-10... The men placed fourth at the PCSC Pentathlon and the women swept Alaska both days... At the PCSC Pentathlon, Chris Lynch, James Gilmore and James White set a meet record in the 300 breaststroke relay... The women's team was led by freshman Marina Pomar-Enders who won four individual events in Alaska... Head coach Craig Mallery is in his 12th season with Seattle University.

WOMEN'S WEEKEND RECAP: The women's squad defeated UC Santa Cruz by a score of 157-131 Saturday at Schaal Aquatics Center... It was the first dual meet win of the season for the Aggie women who had eight individual first place finishes and a win in the 200 medley relay... There were seven season-best times recorded and one personal-best time... Kayleigh Foley led the team with wins in the 50 free and 100 free... The women's diving team took the top three spots on the high board with Jennifer Meyer leading the way with a first-place finish... Shiree Segev was the women's top scorer in the 1-meter event.

MEN'S WEEKEND RECAP: The men topped UC Santa Cruz 146-134 Saturday at Schaal Aquatics Center in their season opener... The team had seven individual first place finishes and a win in the 200 medley relay... Paul Navo led the men's divers with a first place finish in the 1-meter event... Jason Andrade placed second on the high board.

IT'S GOOD TO BE HOME: Saturday's meet is the third straight for the women and second straight for the men... The 2009-10 schedule features seven total home dual meets, including four straight Oct. 16-Nov. 6... The seven home dual meets is the most since joining the Div. I ranks... The Aggies hosted six dual meets in 2005-06 and 2006-07.

SWIMMING AND DIVING ALUMNI MEET SET FOR NOV. 7: The UC Davis men's and women's swimming and diving teams will host a co-ed alumni meet Nov. 7 at Schaal Aquatics Center... The meet will begin at 9:00 a.m... Coffee and pastries will be provided before the meet... Participants are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch for afterwards or join Aggie football fans, alumni and friends at the Aggie Pride Zone located in the southwest corner of the football stadium...
