2014: Raced five times, posting career-best marks in 3,000 (8:31.84), 5,000 (14:44.72) and 10,000 (30:28.34)... Was third in 3K at both Cal Opener and Causeway Dual.

2013: Competed in seven meets, including the Big West Championships... Had season-best mark of 3:58.08 in the 1,500 at Sac State Mid-Major Challenge... Also ran 5,000 three times... Was second in 3K at Causeway Dual and was third in 5K at Aggie Open.

CROSS COUNTRY: Competed in five meets for the Aggies in 2014, posting a pair of top-20 finishes... Crossed the line in 19:10 in the season-opening Aggie Open to finish 11th while ending up 17th at the Big West Conference Championships in a time of 26:30.8... Posted his best 8K time of the season at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational, finishing 60th with a time of 24:52... One of six Aggies to run at the NCAA West Regionals, crossing the line in a time of 32:14 (119th)... Selected to the Big West Conference fall All-Academic Team. Raced five times as a freshman, including Big West Conference Championship and NCAA West Regional... Crossed as team's No. 3 scorer at region meet (108th overall).

ESPERANZA HS '12: All-Southern Section performer and Century League champion in both track & field and cross country... Finished 5th in 3,200 (PR 9:18.73) at section championship as a senior, cutting 14 seconds from his winning time at Century League meet... Three-time CIF state finalist in cross country, placing 17th in final season as an individual qualifier... Took 9th at CIF-SS Divisional finals the week before states in 2011.

PERSONAL: Born in La Palma, Calif.... Majoring in biological sciences, with plans of becoming a doctor... Parents are Manoj & Ahuti Dholakia... Little-known fact: he played baseball for 13 years, even competing in Hawaii with a travel team... Note to announcers: name is pronounced "ah-MAHR doh-LAH-kee-ah."
