2016: Recorded a lifetime best of 3:51.34 in the 1500 to finish fifth at the Big West Championships... Placed second in the event at Causeway Classic (3:52.14) and Aggie Open (3:57.35)... Ran 3:52.75 to finish third at Chico State Twilight... Also posted a season-best of 1:56.39 in the 800.
2015: Moved up in distance to record a strong performance over 5000 at the SFSU Distance Carnival (14:48.30)... Competed in that event as well as the 1500 at the Big West Championships... Posted a season-best mark of 3:53.36 at Chico State Twilight.
2014: Versatile runner for the Aggies in middle distance and distance events... Won the 3,000 in season-best 8:36.57 during early season Aggie Open and was later 2nd in the event at Causeway Dual... Took 7th at Big West Championships in 1,500 in 3:52.57, his best mark of the season... Placed 7th in 1,500 at ASU Sun Angel Classic.
CROSS COUNTRY: Was member of Aggie lineup in five meets during sophomore season, including ISU Pre-National Invitational, Big West Championship and NCAA West Regional... Took 10th at seaso-opening Aggie Open and was 15th at WCC Preview... Ran in only one meet during his rookie season with the Aggies, finishing 46th at the Doc Adams Open on Nov. 9 with a time of 26:16.
CANYON HS '13: Earned four letters as a member of Canyon's Track and Field and Cross Country teams... Received all-league, all-county, all-CIF and all-state cross country recognition in 2012... The following year, he was named track and all-sports athlete of the year by the Century League... Still possesses Canyon High's and the Century League's mile record... Collected Orange County first team accolades for cross country and track in 2012 and 2013 respectively... Finished as a runner-up in the Division II Cross Country CIF Finals and fourth place in the State Championships in 2012... Ended his senior track and field season as the mile and two mile Century League individual champion, Orange County two mile champion, and posted an 11th place finish in the state's meet... Held a personal best in the 5k with 15:17 at the CIF State Championships... Personal best in the 800 meters was 1:55.93... Personal best in the 1600 was 4:12... Personal best in the 3200 was 9:20.
PERSONAL:Parents are Roberta and Ron Goins... Majoring in managerial economics... Siblings Olivia and Rianna also attend UC Davis and run for the Aggies... Also has a younger brother, Trevor... Part of the first set of triplets to compete for the Aggies at the same time... Enjoys watching movies... During all 4 years of balancing sports and academics, he received scholar-athlete recognition for possessing a 3.5 GPA or higher.
