2009: Redshirted outdoors, competing during indoor season only... Ran 60 hurdles in two meets... Posted 8.95 at Husky Invitational (t3rd in school history) after going 9.15 at UW Invite two weeks earlier.

2008: Finished 7th in 100 hurdles at Big West Conference Championships, posting season-best 14.36 in prelims... Fastest wind-legal time was 14.78 in Aggie Twilight meet.

2007: Placed 2nd in 100 hurdles at Div. I Independent Championships, posting season-best 14.50... That mark ranks 5th in school record book... Won Sac State Open (14.56) a few weeks prior to independent meet, then went 14.62 in Fresno State Dual... Appeared in two indoor meets, hitting 8.99 at Husky Classic, 3rd on Aggie indoor list.

2006: Broke 15-second barrier in 100 hurdles on five occasions... Posted season-best 14.68 in Bulldog Dual... Won her heat at Arizona State Invitational with 14.87 into slight headwind... Also competed indoors, running 55 hurdles (8.64) at Silver State Invite and 60 hurdles (9.43) at Husky Classic... Both marks put her in school's indoor top five.

CHICO HS '05: Won Eastern Athletic League and Northern Section titles in 100 hurdles, 300 hurdles and both relays as a senior... Set section record in 100 hurdles at 14.75, breaking own CHS record... Also set school record in 300 hurdles (45.17)... Won Bob Russell Award as section's outstanding athlete... Won EAL titles in both hurdles and 4x100 relay... Relay squad also won CIF-NS championship... All-EAL honoree in both hurdles as a sophomore, capturing team's Cherrie Sherrard Award as outstanding hurdler... Also competed in gymnastics, finishing 3rd in all-around at Level 8 State meet in 2005... Won Level 8 floor exercise at state meet the year before.

PERSONAL: Born in Chico, Calif.... Majoring in exercise biology... Parents are Alan & Wendy Azevedo... Career highlight was the 2005 Northern Section meet: advanced to state meet in each of her events, broke the section 100 hurdles record and won Bob Russell Award... Non-sports heroes are her gymnastics coaches, Dennis and Cindy Ferranti; plus her sisters Amber, Emily and Geneva... Emily, who set the UC Davis 100 hurdles record in 2005, competed at the 2010 Winter Olympics as a bobsledder (brakewoman)... Geneva is a member of the Aggie novice rowing team.
