2005: Placed 6th in 1,500 (4:45.88), 7th in 800 (2:19.04)... Hit season-best 4:45.44 at independent prelims... Finished 6th in 800 at Cal-Nevada State Championships, posting PR of 2:15.59.

2003-04: Did not compete in track... Redshirted with women's soccer in 2002-03.

SAN MARCOS HS '02: Lettered in soccer, track & field and cross country... Two-time team MVP in track & field as a sprinter and middle distance runner... Captured three straight county 800 titles... Qualified for Southern Section meet... Won USMC Distinguished Athlete honors in cross country... Won first-team All-Channel League honors in soccer as a junior and senior... Added All-Santa Barbara County honors as a senior... Voted as team's offensive MVP in her last two years, defensive MVP as a freshman... Won Lady Royal Award in 2001.

PERSONAL: Born in Santa Barbara, Calif.... Mathematics major... Parents are Mark & Margaret Beeson... Best athlete she has faced is soccer player Natalie Sanderson, formerly of Buena High, now at Stanford... Plans on becoming a high school coach and math teacher.
