CROSS COUNTRY: Raced in 2007 only... Lone appearance was at Santa Clara Invitational... On 2008 roster, but did not compete.

SIMI VALLEY HS '07: Captured All-Ventura and All-Marmonte League honors as a junior and senior... Team advanced to 2006 state meet, placing 10th... Finished 3rd in 800 at league meet during senior track season... Four-year Scholar-Athlete... Attended Santa Susana HS as a freshman, SVHS for remaining three years.

PERSONAL: Born in Northridge, Calif.... Majoring in animal biology... Parents are Michael & Lucinda Burton... Proudest personal accomplishment was running at the CIF state meet as a senior... Plans on becoming a veterinarian, specializing in exotic animals.
