Finished 3rd (10:40.82) at Big West Conference Championships... Also hit 10:45.56 at S.F. State Distance Carnival... Competed in open 3K once (9:59.74 at Stanford Opener) and 1,500 twice (4:34.20 at Brutus Hamilton).

2009: Team's top steeplechase runner, placing 6th (10:52.78) at Big West Conference meet... Went 10:51.0 (hand time) during Causeway Dual... Also among team leaders in 1,500 (4:44.38 at Mondo Invite) and 5,000 (17:45.80 at Brutus Hamilton).

2008: Competed in 5,000 in five meets, posting season-best 18:13.35 during Woody Wilson Classic... Also appeared in 1,500 (4:50.00) in Aggie Twilight and 3,000 (10:41.68) in Causeway dual.

CROSS COUNTRY: Aggies' top finisher at Bronco Invitational (14th overall) and NCAA West Regional (33rd) in 2010... Crossed as team's No. 2 runner on three other occasions, including Big West Conference (17th)... Placed 14th at Big West Conference Championship in 2009, one of five appearances... Also among team's top three finishers at Stanford (25th), Pre-Nationals (89th) and West Regional (31st)... Appeared in six meets in 2008, including NCAA West Regional... Finished T20th at Big West meet...Raced four times as a freshman in 2007, including the Big West and West Region championships.

HIGHLAND HS '07: Qualified for state meet as a junior, finishing 18th in Division I... Twice named as cross country MVP... Also a two-year MVP in track & field, capturing Golden League titles in 1,600 (5:29.28) and 3,200 (11:54.24) as a senior... Selected as class valedictorian... Posted 4.0 grade-point average all four years.

PERSONAL: Born in Santa Ana, Calif.... Majoring in biotechnology... Parents are Paul & Druanne Fitzgerald... Proudest achievement was qualifying for the state cross country meet in 2005... Claims two historical events she wishes she could have witnessed: the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the race between War Admiral and Seabiscuit.
