2005: Placed 4th (13.74, 45-1) in triple jump at Div. I Independent Championships... Mark was season best, save for wind-aided 13.78 (45-4.5) at Woody Wilson... Also finished 9th at independent meet in long jump with wind-hindered 6.02 (19-9)... Best long jump was 6.31 (20-8.5) at Causeway Dual.

HUMBOLDT STATE: Redshirted due to injury as a freshman in 2003... Humboldt State discontinued field events shortly before his sophomore year.

LAS LOMAS HS '02: Lettered in wrestling and track & field... Placed 6th in triple jump, 5th in 110 hurdles at Diablo Valley Athletic League meet as a senior... Earned team's Most Improved honors.

PERSONAL: Born in Bakersfield, Calif.... Majoring in psychology... Mother is Joan Chamberlain... Older brother, Dan, played soccer at UC Santa Cruz... Among his superstitions is keeping a four-leaf clover in his jump shoes.
