2014: Competed indoors only, posting season-best pole vault mark of 3.62m (11-10.50) at UW Open... Took 2nd in that competition... Redshirted during outdoor season.

2013:
Twice posted season-best marks of 3.80m (12-05.50)... The first time captured the Woody Wilson Classic while the second was for 3rd at the Big West Championships... Finished 1st in the Aggie Open early in the season.. Went 3.62m (11-10.50) at UW Open for second place and best indoor finish.

: California indoor champion as a senior, tying PR of 11-6 as a member of North Coast Vaulting Association... Placed 2nd (school/league record of 12-0.5) at Redwood Empire Area meet then 5th (11-5) at North Coast Section Meet of Champions during subsequent outdoor season... Captured area title and finished 2nd at MOC in 2011... Went on to finish 13th (11-3) at CIF state championships as a junior... Had a stop-and-start relationship with the pole vault: competed as a freshman, switched to horizontal jumps as a sophomore, then returned to vault as a junior at the urging of her coach... Won five Sonoma County League championships in her career: three in pole vault, one in triple jump, one in long jump.

PERSONAL: Born in Santa Rosa, Calif.... Majoring in biological sciences.. Parents are Scott & Vickie Steffen... Career highlight was setting two PRs during 2013 Woody Wilson Classic... Proudest personal accomplishment was co-organizing a mock track meet to raise funds for the Polly Klaas Foundation... Has career aspirations to attend medical school and become a sports medicine doctor.
