Prelim time of 60.75 ranks fourth in school history... First cracked 1:02 barrier with 1:01.73 at Causeway Classic dual... Also led off 4x400 relay in four meets... Competed in 200 (26.93) and 400 (1:01.16) at UW Invite for lone indoor appearance. 2011: Led off 3rd-place 4x100 relay (46.86) at Big West Conference Championship... Also competed individually in 100 (17th) and 200 (18th) at conference... Appeared in 100 five times, including season-best 12.34 at Cal Opener; and in 200 seven times, with best of 25.15 in Aggie Open... Ran at both indoor meets, posting winter bests of 8.00 in 60, 25.80 in 200.
ALAMEDA HS '10: Advanced to North Coast Section Meet of Champions for three straight years... Placed 11th in 200 (26.76), 18th in 100 hurdles (18.50) as a senior... Qualified for MOC after placing 6th in 200 (27.29) at Bay Shore Area meet... Finished 13th in 200 (26.37) as a junior... Also ran for team's 4x100 squad... Member of Flying Jaguars club (Hercules, Calif.), competing at 2008 and 2009 Junior Olympics.
PERSONAL: Born in Berkeley, Calif.... Has not yet declared a major... Parents are Jim & Denise Grigg... Older brother, Devin, played baseball at Cal State East Bay... Owns a horse named Capone. |
