2009: Compiled program's 2nd all-time heptathlon score of 4,903 to win UC Multi... Added win at Chico Multi (4,658) then finished season with 4th-place at Big West Conference Championships (4,821)... Also competed in 100 hurdles (9th), javelin (9th) and long jump (15th) at conference... Hep event bests were: 100H - 14.61, HJ - 1.51m (4-11.5), SP - 11.16m (36-7.5); 200 - 25.85; LJ - 5.60m (18-4.5); JT - 42.36m (139-0); 800 - 2:35.19... Ranks 8th all-time at UC Davis in 100 hurdles... Javelin throw, set at Brutus Hamilton Invite, ranks 5th in school history... Best hep javelin was 40.52m (132-11) at Big West meet... Long jump best was also in an open event, missing Aggies' outdoor top 10 list by just four centimeters... Competed in one indoor meet, posting 9.61 in 60 hurdles, 4.90m (16-1) in long jump at Husky Invitational.

BAKERSFIELD COLLEGE: California state champion in heptathlon, scoring 4,590 as a sophomore... Finished 2nd in state as a freshman (4,321)... Won Southern California hep titles both years... Southern California runner-up in 100 hurdles (14.61) and advanced to finals in javelin, 400 hurdles and long jump in 2008... Also a SoCal finalist in both hurdles as a freshman... Also attended Ventura College (2005-06), but did not compete in sports.

STOCKDALE HS '05: Played basketball, but did not win any major awards... Did not discover track & field until attending Bakersfield College two years later.

PERSONAL: Born in Los Angeles, Calif.... Majoring in communication... Parents are Howard & Artney Jackson... Name is pronounced "Anna-KEE-uh"... Claims a talent at watching movies repeatedly until she can recite them... Hopes to put such skills to use: she aspires toward a career as a film editor.
