2007: Won high jump at Div. I Independent Championships, clearing 2.00m (6-6.75)... Title was one of five meet wins during the year, along with Stanford Quad, Hornet Invitational plus duals with Sac State and Fresno State... Posted PR of 2.14m (7-0.25) in win vs. Bulldogs, becoming second Aggie to break 7-foot barrier... Ranks behind only Steve Link, who went 2.19m/7-2.25 in 1980... That mark also qualified him for the 2007 World University Games, in which he represented his birth country of Liberia... Appeared in two indoor meets, finishing 2nd at Husky Classic at 2.00m (6-6.75), 4th in school indoor history.

2006: On roster, did not compete.

2005: Redshirted.

2004: Hit season-best 1.98 (6-6) in high jump at Chico Twilight meet... Previous best was 1.93 (6-4) at Woody Wilson Classic.

YERBA BUENA HS '03: Three-time Blossom Valley Athletic League champion in high jump, setting PR of 6-4.5... Finished 2nd at Central Coast Section meet (6-4) as a senior... Also qualified for CCS meet in 2002, placing 8th (6-2) and advancing to state championships... Graduated magna cum laude.

PERSONAL: Born in Liberia... Majoring in psychology... Mother's name is Musu Bennett... Sixth of eight siblings... Best piece of advice he's received: "A good pass to a bad player is still a bad pass"... Career highlight was clearing seven feet for the first time... Proudest accomplishment was competing at the World University Games.
