UC Davis Battles Hard But Falls At Sac State

Hornets win men's and women's track and field duals on Friday night

2012: Placed 6th in 400 at Big West Conference, including 48.60 in prelims... Owned team's fastest 400 for the year, hitting 48.36 to win Causeway Classic dual, narrowly missing school all-time top 10... Also went 48.53 at Stanford Invite (first career sub-49 quarter), 48.55 at Woody Wilson Classic... Competed in 200 in three meets... Fastest wind-legal time was 22.16 at Sac State Open.

WOODSIDE HS '11: Starred in both track and basketball... Two-time Central Coast Section finalist in 400, placing 4th as a senior, 7th as a junior... Hit prep PR of 49.37 during 2011 CCS semis... Also competed in 100 (11.30), 200 (22.64) and high jump (6-2) in final season... Averaged 18 points per game as a guard, earning third straight All-Peninsula Athletic League first-team nod... Competed for Menlo Park Roadrunners from 2009-11, posting a top-25 finish at AAU Nationals.
