2007: Repeated 3rd-place finish at Div. I Independent Championships with season-best 1:02.14 in finals, improving from 1:02.72 in prelim heat... Won two races during year: Sac State Open (1:03.37) and Stanford Quad (1:03.81)... Also ran leadoff leg of 7th-place 4x400 at Cal-Nevada state meet... Ran open 400 indoors, crossing in 1:00.06 at Husky Classic.

2006: Finished 3rd at D-I Independent meet in 400 hurdles (season-best 1:02.77)... Had best prelim time, winning second semifinal heat... Also led off 3rd-place 4x400 relay (3:54.06) and finished 14th in javelin (24.25m, 79-07) at independent meet... Competed in two indoor meets, racing program's first-ever 600 (1:40.46) at Silver State Invitational.

2005: Placed 2nd in 400 hurdles (1:02.01) at Div. I Independent Championships... Beat previous best of 1:02.11 set at Sacramento State... Ranks 6th on school's all-time top 10... First moved into top 10 with 6th-place 1:02.73 at Cal-Nevada state meet.

2004: Redshirted.

NEVADA UNION HS '03: Finished 7th in 100 hurdles (15.91), 6th in 300 hurdles (44.81) at Sac-Joaquin Section finals as a senior... Earned team's Ostrom Family Award that year... Set school records for 4x100 and 4x400 relays... Named Sprinter of the Year as a sophomore, Rookie of the Year as a freshman... Also was a two-year captain in basketball, helping team to back-to-back Metro League titles.

PERSONAL: Born in Roseville, Calif.... Majoring in exercise biology... Mother is Linda Lorson... Oldest of five siblings... Career highlight was earning Nevada Union's Athlete of the Year award... Says the toughest thing about being a student-athlete is having to explain to others why running is fun... Favorite opponent's facility is Sacramento State's Hornet Stadium "because I love beating their team."
