COVINA HS '06: Lettered in three sports (wrestling, cross country and track)... Named All-San Antonio League (SAL) and All-Southern Section in track and field as a senior... Earned All-SAL honors in cross country as well... Competed at 140 lbs. for the wrestling team.

PERSONAL: Majoring in economics... Parents are Jose Martinez and Susanna Orosco-Martinez... Jose, whom Fed lists as his sports hero, was a two-time All-American wrestler for UC Davis in the early 1980s... Career highlight was competing at CIF-SDS finals in track & field.
