UC DAVIS CROSS COUNTRY: Competed in all seven meets as a redshirt freshman in 2005... Was Aggies' top finisher (12th) in open 8K at Stanford... Redshirted 2004 season.

COAST UNION HS '04: Captured Central Section Div. V title in each of his junior and senior seasons... Winning mark of 16:24 in 2003 was 49 seconds faster than runner-up... Went on to place 5th (16:12) at the state meet... Finished 3rd among all divisions at the Grand Valley Championship... Also starred in soccer, earning Coast Sierra League MVP honors in 2002... Selected both as school's outstanding student-athlete and scholar-athlete in 2004.
