2014:Earned All-Big West Conference honors in the 10,000 after finishing eighth...Twice ran the 5,000 with a season-best time of 17:30.28 at the SFSU Distance Carnival... Opened the season with fifth-place showing in 3k at Cal Opener.

2013:Ran just twice, competing in 1,500 at Aggie Open and 3,000 at Stanford Opener.

CROSS COUNTRY: Saw action in three early season meets during 2014 season... Was 10th at the Aggie Open and 14th at the WCC Preview... Also rans at the Stanford Invitational... Ran three times in 2013, finishing a season-best 10th at season-opening Aggie Open... Redshirted in 2012.

EL MOLINO HS '12: Heart and Soul Redwood Empire Runner of the Year... Won back-to-back 3,200 titles at North Coast Section Redwood Area meet, plus the 1,600 championship as a junior... Placed 5th in 3,200 (11:00.65), 6th in 1,600 (5:02.62) at NCS Meet of Champions as a senior, improving from 7th-place showings in each in 2011... Captured Sonoma County League titles in both mile and 2-mile during each of final two seasons... Set school records in both events, plus several stadium records... Placed 7th at CIF state cross country championships as a senior, improving from 19th as a junior, 95th as a sophomore... Selected as school's outstanding senior female athlete of the year... Twice nominated as EMHS' entry for Empire Scholar-Athlete of the Year... Captured CIF-NCS Scholar-Athlete honors every year.

PERSONAL: Born in Santa Rosa, Calif.... Majoring in animal science... Parents are Tony & Dorothy Lane... Selected UC Davis in part for its strength in veterinary medicine... Not surprisingly, lists fellow Santa Rosa native Kim Conley as her sports hero.
