2015: Ran in six meets, posting career-best time of 8:43.80 in 3,000 at Cal Opener and 15:22.36 in 5,000 at SFSU Distance Carnival... Was seventh in 1,500 at Causeway Dual
2014: Competed in three events,including Causeway Dual where he was fourth in 1,500... Also ran in Aggie Open and Brutus Hamilton Open.
2013: Ran 800, 1500 and 3,000 as a freshman... Finished 5th in 800 in Causeway Dual and was 14th in 1,500 at subsequent Sacramento State Open.
CROSS COUNTRY: Was a regular in Aggies' lineup as a junior, racing five times including Stanford Invitational, ISU Pre-National Invitational and Big West Championship... Finished 8th at Aggie and 34th at WCC Preview... Competed in Aggie Open, Doc Adams Open and Bronco Invitational during sophomore campaigh... Took 20th at Doc Adams for top finish... Saw action in three meets in 2012, crossing as Aggies' No. 3 finisher at both Hornet Jamboree and Doc Adams Open.
CATHEDRAL CATHOLIC HS '12: Placed 4th at Western League cross country meet as a senior, improving from 24th-place showing as a junior... Competed more in middle distances during track season, placing 2nd in 800, 7th in 1,600 at Western League meet... Went on to finish 4th at San Diego Section meet in 800 with PR 1:57.75... Won team's Amanda Post Memorial Award.
PERSONAL: Born in La Jolla, Calif.... Majoring in chemistry... Parents are Robert & Melissa Fitzgerald... If he won a million dollars: "Take my friends to a nice dinner, then decide later."
