2014: Improved herNo. 2 spot on all-time outdoor shot put list (51-00.25) after winning the event at the Causeway Dual... Advanced to NCAA West Prelims where she finished 28th at 48-10.25 for her third-best mark of the year... Also won shot put (49-06.25) at the Mondo Mid-Major Classic... Also owned Aggies' top mark in the discus after going 157-01 at the Cal's Brutus Hamilton... That improved her No. 5 all-time position... Captured first place in the discus at the Causeway Dual and Aggie Open... Set indoor school record in the shot put (48-10.75) at the UW Invitational.

Had team-best season marks in the shot put (48-11.75) and discus (154-07) while at the Causeway Dual and Mondo Mid-Major, respectively, ranking 2nd and fifth in Aggie record book... Finished 1st in the shot put four times... Was named Big West Field Athlete of the Week winning both events at the Aggie Open... Went past 149-foot mark in discus four times... Also competed in the hammer throw twice.

ALHAMBRA HS '12: Placed 13th at CIF state championships in dscus after winning North Coast Section Meet of Champions with prep PR 141-0... Captured NCS Tri-Valley titles in both shot (39-8.5) and discus (140-9) the week before MOCs... Also made section finals in each event as a junior, placing 8th in shot, 7th in discus... Two-time Most Valuable Athlete after winning Most Inspirational as a sophomore.

PERSONAL: Born in Nigeria... Majoring in biochemistry & molecular biology, with plans of becoming a doctor... Parents are Adegbenga & Immaculate Adesida... Lists three sports heroes: Reese Hoffa, and less predictable for a thrower, Michelle Kwan and Apolo Anton Ohno... Note to announcers: name is pronounced "ah-DAY-see-dah."
