2006: Was Aggies' No. 2 800 runner, posting season-best 2:16.83 at Sac State Open... That mark was 1.4-second improvement over previous best, 2:18.23 during Bulldog Dual one week prior.
2005: Redshirted.
UC DAVIS CROSS COUNTRY: Appeared in four meets as a junior, five meets as a sophomore... Finished among Aggie scorers at Stanford Invitational in 2005... Raced in four meets as a freshman in 2004, opening with 10th-place showing in Aggie Open... Was team's No. 3 runner (11th overall) at inaugural D-I Independent Championships.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Eden Prairie (Minn.) for three years, then Amador Valley as a senior in 2003-04... Named MVP of both her cross country and track teams at AVHS... Won East Bay Athletic League 1,600 championship (5:10.24)... Also finished 2nd in 800 (2:18.80) that year... Helped lead EPHS to state track title in 2003... Selected as Most Improved on cross country team in 2002... Voted AVHS Senior Athlete of the Year.
PERSONAL: Born in Davenport, Iowa.... Majoring in environmental horticulture & urban forestry... Parents are Jerry & Debbie Stacionis... Career highlight was running 800 and 4x400 PRs in her last high school meet... Best athlete she's faced is Stanford's Lindsay Allen, then of College Park HS... Proudest personal accomplishment was being "happy and successful" after having to move to California for her senior year in high school.
