2007: Finished 8th in long jump (5.05m, 16-7), 10th in triple jump (10.16m, 33-4) at Div. I Independent Championships... Best wind-legal long jump was 4.81 (15-9.5) at Hornet Invitational... Finished 2nd in triple at Sac State Dual, hitting season-best 10.53 (34-6.75).
2006: Appeared in six meets in both long and triple jumps... Hit season-best marks in duals for each event... Posted 5.08m (16-8) in Causeway Dual... Went 10.46 (34-4) in Bulldog Dual.
HILLSDALE HS '05: Starred in track, cross country and soccer... Set school record in triple jump... Advanced to Central Coast Section semifinals in both horizontal jumps as a senior... Placed 12th in long jump (16-6.5), 13th in triple jump (34-2.25)... Finished 2nd in triple (35-2.5), 3rd in long (16-8) at Peninsula Athletic League meet to qualify for CCS competition... Also was 6th in 100 (13.14) at PAL Championships... Medaled 10 times at PAL meet during career... Captured first-team All-PAL honors in soccer as a defender... Selected as school's Athlete of the Year for 2004-05.
PERSONAL: Born in Burlingame, Calif.... Majoring in anthropology... Parents are Roger & Gail Strack... Roger played baseball at USF then in the Oakland A's organization... Older sister, Janine, was a diver at UCLA... Career highlight was winning a league long jump title and medalling in all four of her events.
