Won Youth Athletics Nationals in 2004 and 2005... Runner-up at Monticello Empire League meet in both shot and discus, then placed 12th and 8th in those respective events at Sac-Joaquin Section championships... Also an All-MEL and All-Solano County center in football as a junior and senior.
