CROSS COUNTRY: Raced four times in 2010, crossing as a scoring finisher in each... Placed 38th overall (4th on team) at Big Wset Conference Championship... Best showing was 7th at Hornet Jamboree... Aggies' No. 2 runner (31st overall) at Bronco Invite... Finished 30th (6th among Aggies), at 2009 Big West Conference meet... Also competed at Stanford Invitational and Pre-National meet as a freshman.

BENICIA HS '09: Three-time state meet qualifier in cross country, including 15th-place showing (18:19) as a senior... Placed 2nd at Sac-Joaquin Section meet to advance... Previous state finishes were 57th (2006) and 104th (2005)... Also advanced to CIF state track championships in 3,200, placing 22nd (11:00.33)... Won CIF-SJS Masters Meet (11:04.43) to earn ticket to state meet... Hit two-mile PR of 10:56.55 at Arcadia Invitational... Four-year Honor Roll member and winner of Principal's Scholar award... Earned All-America honors (15th place) at 2007 Junior Olympics for Buffalo Babes club.

PERSONAL: Born in Oakland, Calif.... Majoring in chemical engineering... Parents are John & Karen Tusting... Career highlight was winning a section title in 3,200 as a high school senior.
