UC Davis to send 20 athletes to meet featuring Olympians and national champions

2012: Finished 11th in shot put (12.35m/40-6.25) at Big West Conference Championships... Broke 13-meter barrier twice: 13.38 (43-10.75) at Causeway Classic, 13.33m (43-9) at Woody Wilson... Ranks 8th in school history... Competed in hammer three times, hitting best of 45.14m (148-1) at Woody Wilson... Threw indoor shot (12.27/40-3.25) and weight (14.72m/48-3.5) at both meets, hitting season bests in each at Husky Classic.

MERCY HS '11: Won West Bay Athletic League titles in both shot and discus during final two seasons, setting school records for each event... Placed 4th in shot at Central Coast Section championship as a senior, posting season-best 37-9.25... Two-time field events MVP... Selected as school's Athlete of the Year and top Scholar-Athlete, having lettered in volleyball, basketball and track & field.
