STANFORD, Calif. - Senior Josh Flexman won both the 100- and 200-meter events on Sunday afternoon at the Stanford Track and Field Invitational, tying his career-best time in the 100 with a winning time of 10.70 seconds.
Flexman was one of two Aggie winners at the meet, joining Kyle Auclair who went 22 feet, 7 inches to capture the long jump.
Flexman's time of 10.70 tied his personal-best in the event, a clocking he also achieved at the 2001 California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships. Flexman added his second win at Stanford on Sunday when he won the 200 in a season-best time of 21.75, second on the team's season list by just .01.
Auclair won the long jump by more than seven inches, finishing just one inch off his season-best mark of 22-8 earned at the Woody Wilson Classic on April 16.
Danielle Green finished second and third in the 100 and 200, respectively, including a a season-best mark of 12.27 in the 100 to help pace the UC Davis women on Sunday. Her time of 25.44 in the 200 was her second-fastest of the year.
UC Davis had competitors in the men's high jump and hammer throw, as well as the women's discus but results from those events were not available.
