UC Davis newcomers place well at Sacramento State's Hornet Jamboree

FLORIN HS '12: Team captain and Athlete of the Year in cross country, wrestling and track & field... Posted four cross country meet wins as a senior, including Metro League Championship... Went on to place 11th at Sac-Joaquin Section and 69th at CIF state championships... Won 1,600 title at Delta River League meet as a sophomore, then captured back-to-back 3,200 titles after FHS moved to Metro League... Placed 7th in 3,200 at CIF-SJS Div. II-III meet as a senior, crossing in PR 9:39.64... Won Gold Panther Award for academic, community/school involvement and attendance.
