2004: ALL-DIV. I INDEPENDENT, placing 10th (26:22) at the first-ever championships... Competed in all seven meets... Was team's No. 2 runner at Pacific Association meet (33:10) and Sac State Open (16:05.3)... Also scored team points in Aggie Open (8th, 26:11.9), at Stanford (67th, 25:15) and at Williamette (18th, 24:49.09).

2003: Appeared in four meets, including Pacific USATF Championships... Made UC Davis cross country debut with 16-place showing in Aggie Open (26:29.2)... Placed 41st (25:26.8) at Willamette Invitational.

2001 & 2002: Did not compete.

TRACK & FIELD: Redshirted 2005 season... Competed in 1,500 and 5,000 in 2004... Set both season bests at home: 3:55.04 in Aggie Twilight, 15:35.54 in Aggie Classic... Added 800 as a sophomore in 2003, hitting 1:59.34 in Woody Wilson Classic... First broke 4-minute barrier in 1,500 as a freshman in 2002, recording 3:58.2 (hand-timed) at Woody Wilson meet.

BURROUGHS HS '01: Finished 7th at state meet in 1,600 as a senior... Placed 3rd in 1,600, 4th in 800 at Southern Section meet, winning Foothill League titles in each event... Selected as team MVP and City of Burbank Male Athlete of the Year... Set school 1,600 record at 4:14.80... Earned All-Foothill League in cross country, placing 7th.

PERSONAL: Born in Thousand Oaks, Calif.... Majoring in history... Parents are Richard & Sally Ahr... Career highlight was setting the school record in the 1,600...
