2013: Competed in five meets for the Aggies, posting a pair of top-20 finishes... Crossed the line in 19:10 in the season-opening Aggie Open to finish 11th while ending up 17th at the Big West Conference Championships in a time of 26:30.8... Posted his best 8K time of the season at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational, finishing 60th with a time of 24:52... One of six Aggies to run at the NCAA West Regionals, crossing the line in a time of 32:14 (119th)... Selected to the Big West Conference fall All-Academic Team.

2012: Ran in five races in his first season, finishing in the Aggies' top-5 three times...Was the third Aggie across the finish line and checked in at 108th overall at the NCAA West Regionals (10K) with a time of 31:44...Finished a season-best 15th at the Aggie Open (6K), with a time of 18:53.2...Also ran at the Stanford Invite (8K), Bronco Invitational (8K) and Big West Championships (8K).

ESPERANZA HS '12: Crossed the finish line in a time of 14:41 to win the Century League individual championship and advance to the CIF-Southern Section finals where he finished ninth overall in a time of 15:21... Competed in his third California CIF Cross Country State Championship final, clocking in at 15:42 to finish 17th in the 5K race... Was sixth among Div. III competitors (15:54.00) at Mt. SAC last fall.... Also competed in track and field, earning a spot in the CIF-Southern Section Divisional Finals where he posted a career-best time of 9:18.73 in the 3,200-meter run... The time ranked 54th in the state... Won the 3,200 at the Century League finals in a time of 9:32.41 while placing second in the 1,600 with a time of 4:20.12... Held a position on the Principal's Honor Roll all four years at Esperanza HS and was twice named a Distinguished Scholar.
