2008 : Competed in six meets as a true freshman, including Big West Conference and NCAA West Region championships... Finished 32nd overall, seventh among UC Davis runners, at conference meet... Ranked among team's scoring finishers at Washington Sundodger Invitational (19th overall) and Stanford Invite (65th).

TRACK & FIELD: Competed in 1,500 in five meets in 2010... Best mark was 4:34.20, good for 2nd in Aggie Open... Also ranked among team leaders in steeplechase (9:58.57)... Redshirted 2009 season.

TRABUCO HILLS HS `08: Led team to Orange County Championships as a senior... Finished 3rd at that meet and during the Sea View League (SVL) Championships... Named All-Orange County and All-SVL... Placed 12th at Division I State Championships to earn second-team all-state accolades... Member of back-to-back league championship teams in cross country and track and field.... Track and field team finished third at the state championships in 2007... Holds school record in the mile with a time of 5:09.

PERSONAL: Born in Anaheim, Calif.... Majoring in clinical nutrition... Parents are Henry & Beth Arkin... Becomes the first Trabuco Hills female cross country runner to earn athletic scholarship... Older sister Michelle attends Long Beach State.
